Quinoa, chocolate and granola bars

190g oats
80g chopped mixed nuts
120g peanut or almond butter
35g coconut oil
60g chopped dates
10g chia seeds (optional)
60g pearl quinoa
50g dark chocolate chopped
3 tbsp of honey

In a small frying pan toast the uncooked quinoa and chia seeds on a low heat for a few minutes.

Set it aside.

In a medium pan melt the coconut oil, honey and nut butter.

Mix well with the rest of the dry ingredients.

Line a baking tray (18cm/28cm) with a baking parchment, press the mix in and bake in a preheated oven(160 ̊C) for 15 minutes.

Cool well before slicing.
