Quinoa is a complete vegetable protein that contains all nine of the essential amino acids necessary for dietary needs. It’s rich in vitamins and minerals, particularly magnesium and iron. Our variety of quinoa is also gluten free and organic.
Quinoa is full of ‘good carbs’, and boats an incredibly low glycemic index of 35. This means the carbs in quinoa are processed by your body very slowly and this gradual release helps you feel satiated for longer.
No chemical nasties or fossil fuel fertilisers are used in Quinola’s production, and we go further than that, as we believe that sustainability is as important as organic certification. That is why all farmers of Coopain Cabana practice mixed agriculture and crop rotation, and allow the fragile land to regenerate via fallow periods. No monocultures here. Quinola is good for you, and the planet too!
