Gladys lives in Cabana with her husband and their 3 children. Her children, 18, 21 and 26, work in the city but help their parents a lot. Apart from harvesting quinoa and potato, they raise cows, chickens as well as guinea pigs, which they like to eat. Gladys makes her own cheese, which we’ve had the chance to try and like, and like to cook the “Mazamorra”, mixture of quinoa flour, milk and her homemade cheese.
