Dionicia has always lived in Cabana with her parents. It took her and her husband 3 years to build their house. She harvests over 80 different varieties of quinoa. Her children are now living in Lima and Juliaca. She actually goes to Lima about twice a month but she’d like to visit the USA. Her husband travels frequently to Europe, mainly to Belgium, where he sells his quinoa. Her favorite food is the “Caldo de quinoa”, a stew of meat, vegetables and quinoa.
